Avamys nasal spray contains fluticasone furoate, a corticosteroid used to treat allergic rhinitis by reducing inflammation in the nasal passages. It effectively relieves symptoms such as sneezing, nasal congestion, runny or itchy nose, and associated eye symptoms when used regularly once daily. Relief may begin within hours, but maximum benefit is usually seen after a few days of continuous use. It is generally well tolerated, with mild nasal irritation or nosebleeds being the most common side effects, and is suitable for adults and children (usually from 2 years) when used as prescribed.
